Overview

The pandemic was a line in the sand that forever changed the landscapes of businesses, organizations, and people. Much of what worked for organizations in the past, no longer applies, or even if it does, in today’s world it is often limited and inadequate. Employees are leaving companies or dissatisfied with their work at a rate never seen before. They are individuals who want to be recognized and valued and are looking for something greater than just a paycheck.

Employees today are earnestly seeking a job that fulfills a sense of purpose, with team values and a “tribe” they can relate to in today’s shifting landscape. For employers who are serious about getting and retaining quality employees that means it’s time to step up. Time to step up and out of established organizational paradigms and development methods based solely on logical, tactical, and analytical thinking. And it’s good news! In part, because the fact is, the organizational solutions so needed for today are already inside the organizations themselves!

It’s a matter of redirecting leadership to stop, listen, be fully present, have empathy, and reconnect to what has heart and meaning for their employees, customers, communities, stakeholders, and the organization at large. Dr. Fatima Bustos-Choy’s extensive experience in Organization Management together with her Doctoral Degree in Humanities with emphasis in Transformative Learning and Change, makes her the ideal guide for your organizational re-development that will lead to lasting productivity and satisfaction.

Process

Dr. Fatima’s approach to Organizational Development is a process, not a formula. It starts at the top with managers and leaders to understand both the company history and the vision moving forward. Every organization is unique and there is no one approach or answer. Dr. Fatima will then work with the entire team to develop a program designed to meet your company’s specific needs. She will do so while bringing together the company’s physicality, vision and spirit to create the whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. It’s a new approach that is designed to lift organizations out of the weeds and be truly relevant to the demands of today.

While each situation is unique and will be approached as a customized process possibly including Leadership Training, Communications, workshops, group exercises and more, the basic steps are:

  1. A Needs Assessment – Asking the following questions with focus groups, individual surveys, one-on-one meetings with employees, or town hall meetings.

  2. Take the feedback, then work to create a plan to envision and design the desired future with the same sub-groups as above.

  3. Create teams to “create different aspects of the desired future”.

  4. Bring Teams together to see the BIG DESIRED FUTURE.

  5. Implement action steps toward the BIG DESIRED FUTURE.

It’s a fresh approach that honors and values all company stakeholders - and results in a better working environment and greater productivity than ever before!
